1. Sleeping with your makeup on
~I am so guilty of this, but ya gotta to let your poor pores breathe at night!~
2. Touching your face
~Hands + Bacteria + Face = dirt-clogged pores (ew)~
3. Rubbing your eyes
~The skin around your eyes is so delicate, so leave it alone! Plus, you don’t want the nasty germs from your hands get in your pretty little peepers!~
4. Biting/picking your nails
~For heaven’s sake, do not bite or pick at your nails! Southern women perform best with clean, freshly manicured paws, of course~
5. Slouching
~Didn’t your mama tell you not to slouch? Sitting and standing up straight makes you look taller and feel better~
6. Eating after 8pm
~Eating late at night can disrupt your sleep since your body is using energy for digestion. Also, a lot of people suffer from late-night munchies, and indulging can ruin an entire day’s diet!~
7. Using a brush on wet hair
~Your mane is much weaker when wet, so use a comb instead, y’all~
8. Forgetting sunglasses
~It is so important to keep your peepers to their full eye-batting potential …and Lord knows no one wants premature wrinkles!~
9. Forgetting to floss
~We girls sometimes depend on our pearly white smiles to get what we want ;) so do your teeth a favor and floss!~
10. Using dirty makeup brushes
~Makeup brushes collect so many bacteria. Most people tell you to wash your brushes once a week, but my goal is at least once a month.~
11. Skipping breakfast
~GUILTY. I used to be so good about eating breakfast, but I have gotten back into this bad habit. Don’t skip breakfast! Your metabolism will thank you~
12. Over-plucking your eyebrows
~Freeze and step away from the tweezers!!! You don’t want to look surprised all the time, do you?~
Well, y'all, that was my list of 12 bad beauty habits to break in 2012. I'm going to try and make it part of my resolution to break some of these horrible habits, and I hope y'all got some good tips too! Good luck!
