Little Miss Manners

If you were raised by a good southern mama like I was, then you know how important it is to write thank you notes. No, not a thank-you email or a thank-you text message but an actual handwritten note with a stamp and everything, y’all. Now I totally understand that writing thank-you notes are sometime a pain in the bootay, but it such a nice touch to show your genuine appreciation! Especially in today’s fast-paced, crazy society, a handwritten (and don’t forget, prompt!) thank-you note can be so meaningful.

Also, don’t underestimate the power of a thank-you note to be your secret to success! Just had a college or job interview? Send a thank-you note. Ask someone to donate to a charity? Send a thank-you note. Receive a gift? THANK-YOU NOTE! …I think you get the picture.

BUT WAIT, Y’ALL!

Do ya want to know the best part of thank-you note writing? The cute stationary, duh!!! Being a southern girl, the key word here being “girl,” I am a sucker for anything cute and personalized.

I am a huge fan of Erin Condren. She has the absolute cutest website just full of personalized stationary, planners, notebooks, you name it!

Aren’t these just precious?!

Hold up, y’all. Sorority note cards?!?! OBSESSED!

You can personalize your stationary however you want! You pick the format, the colors, what style name you want on them, everything! Seriously amazing.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share this tiny tidbit of southern girl advice that I promised my sweet mama that I would try and live by. Oh, and just to let y’all know, Kate Spade has a “three-day rule” when it comes to sending thank-you notes, and I feel like that girl knows what she’s talkin’ about. So send your thank-you notes!!!

xoxo, y’all
