Okay, y’all, we all know that VPL (visible panty line) is simply a no-no.

These panties are amahhzing, and aren’t they just precious?

 I personally like the low-rise thong style…y’all I seriously want to buy these in like every color and pattern. Now, the only downside is the price. These babies are a tad pricey at $18 a pair, but I think the price is totally worth it! These panties somehow manage to be the perfect amount of cute and sexy, and they are perfect at managing VPL. Oh, and did I mention how comfy they are?

What do southern women love more than deviled eggs and double names?

Give up? BABIES! We just love their chubby cheeks and thighs, and more often than not, you will see a southern woman pretending to eat that baby alive. So, in honor of the southern woman’s love of babies and the Halloween weekend, here are some adorable pictures of babies in costumes! Aren’t they just precious??

TGIF y'all! (insert angel chorus)

Shew! What a week it has been! And with this weekend being Halloween weekend, things are sure to be craaaazy around campus. 

Things I have learned this week:

1.    Guys will be a$$holes. There is no escaping it.

2.    Make sure you check to make sure you have enough money in your account or you WILL embarrass yourself while trying to buy chips and guacamole at a Mexican restaurant.

3.    There are a surprising number of hot guys in the library. Hello studying!

4.    I have no problem forgoing a few meals in order to buy clothes. Oh the sacrifices we make!

A “Self-Proclaimed” Southern Belle’s Thoughts on Chivalry: Is It Really Dead, Y’all?

So, I was in line at the post office today to get my giant package of shoes from home that my mommy sent me (this belle needs her shoes… what can I say?), and the guy standing next to me let me cut in front of him! Talk about your “Class A” southern gentleman!   This got me thinking about chivalry and if it is actually dead?   I know that the dynamic between men and women is changing in today’s society, especially with the increase of women in the workforce; however, it makes me sad to think that the entire concept of chivalry is going down the drain.  When is the last time a guy held the door for you?  When is the last time a guy texted you from his car and told you he was in your driveway and were you ready to go?    Honestly, if a guy can’t come to my door to pick me up – I’m just not going on that outing!   Now, I’m not saying I am opposed to going Dutch treat or footing the bill every now and then, but, girls, if you get stuck paying for every date with a guy, don’t walk . . . RUN! How flattering is it when you get a taste of that good ole’ southern hospitality? So what are your thoughts? Is chivalry dead?
